Whos DH in October?

I am a Nick Johnson fan and I hope he turns it around. But a Walk isn't always as good as a hit. When he walks with 2 out and a guy on second right now that isn't doing anything for us. He needs to start hitting I dont care how often he walks. I looked into the options at DH if he doesn't turn it around.

There is always the option of calling up Montero to Catch and DH Splitting time at each Position with Posada. But I personally dont feel he is ready. But even so may be our best in house option.

Of course there are 2 DH type players who fans would love to see become available if there teams fall out of it. Hideki Matsui and Johnny Damon. But The Angels always seem to win and the Tigers should be able to hang around in the Central.

So who else could become available?

Adam Dunn, The Nationals will not be contenders and he is a free agent after the season. Imagine the power he would show in Yankee stadium. Of course he would bat lower in the lineup and Gardner would be moved the the number 2 spot.

Carl Crawford, He could bat 2nd and play left while Gardner switches to right and Nick Swisher becomes the DH. But I seriously doubt the Rays fall out of contention.

Jayson Worth, Phillies wont fall out of Contention.

Chipper Jones, Braves wont trade him even if he still is considering retiring. He's there Jeter.

Andruw Jones, This is actually an interesting option. He signed a minor league deal with White Sox and is off to a good start. 6 HR and a .293 average. But as I type this I think hes another Thames.

I believe the best and most realistic option of the 8 guys I mentioned would be Adam Dunn. What do you guys think?
